FP&A Event

Jolyane Caron is an accomplished financial executive, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Finance (FP&A) and Treasurer at Dollarama L.P., a position she has held since January 2022. Her professional background demonstrates strong expertise in finance, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.

Before joining Dollarama, Ms. Caron worked at BMO Capital Markets, where she held several positions, including Director of Investment Banking and Head of Technology M&A from November 2021 to January 2022, as well as Vice President of Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, from April 2018 to November 2021. She was also a Senior Associate in Direct Private Equity at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan from September 2017 to April 2018.

Ms. Caron began her career at Ernst & Young, where she worked as a Business Valuation and Modeling Analyst from September 2011 to July 2012, and as a Senior Accountant in Audit, Assurance, and Advisory Services from January 2009 to September 2011.

Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the Université de Montréal - HEC Montréal, obtained in 2008. She also completed a graduate diploma in Public Accounting in 2009 at the same institution. In 2007, she studied Business at Copenhagen Business School. Ms. Caron earned her CPA, CA (Ontario) certification from CPA Canada in August 2011.

In March 2024, she was named a finalist in the “Young Financial Executive” category of the Les As de la Finance competition, organized by the Quebec section of the Financial Executives Canada Association.

 

This event also allows you to obtain 45 minutes of CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) professional development by providing a precise description of the activity.

The event is approved for a maximum of 1.2 CTP and 1.2 FP&A recertification credits by the Association of Finance Professionals.
